One day, I was looking at a map. I saw the beautiful name of a town and had to visit it.

Remnants of what Hualien Station once was. It is now far from Hualien Station, sitting quietly in a corner of the port. The Taiwanese are so great at preserving the importance of “the past”, and here, it is no exception.

Nostalgic, though it is my first time. An eastern city of a southern isle.
